Warm, cheesy garlic herb breadsticks with gooey cheese, roasted garlic aroma, and golden crust—perfect for dipping into marinara sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • Pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter (unsalted preferred)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced (or garlic powder)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • Optional: Marinara sauce for dipping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle about 1/4-inch thick.
  3. In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, garlic salt, and dried herbs.
  4. Generously brush the garlic butter mixture over the rolled-out dough.
  5. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella and Parmesan cheese evenly over the buttered dough.
  6. Using a knife or pizza cutter, slice the dough into strips about 1 inch wide.
  7. Transfer the breadsticks to the prepared baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.
  8. Let the breadsticks cool for 2-3 minutes before serving with marinara sauce or your favorite dip.

Notes

Use room-temperature dough for easier rolling. Customize herbs or cheese for different flavor profiles. Double the batch for larger gatherings.
