  • ½ cup (50g) everything bagel seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons fresh herbs (parsley, dill, or chives), finely chopped
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Soften the cream cheese by leaving it out on the counter for about 30 minutes until soft but not melted. Alternatively, microwave in 10-second bursts, stirring in between.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded sharp cheddar, and grated Parmesan. Blend until smooth and creamy using a hand mixer on medium speed or a sturdy spoon, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, lemon juice, salt, and freshly ground black pepper. Mix well to distribute flavors evenly.
  4. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up the mixture.
  5. Remove from fridge and scoop the mixture onto plastic wrap or parchment paper. Shape into a tight ball about 6 inches (15 cm) in diameter. Wrap tightly and chill again for 1 hour to set.
  6. Pour everything bagel seasoning onto a shallow plate. Unwrap the cheese ball and roll it gently in the seasoning until fully coated, pressing lightly to help it stick.
  7. Sprinkle finely chopped fresh herbs over the cheese ball for garnish. Place on a serving plate and let sit at room temperature for 10-15 minutes before serving for best texture.
