A quick and easy chocolate bark dessert featuring milk and white chocolate, crunchy Oreo pieces, and festive cap and gown sprinkles, perfect for celebrations.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz (340 g) milk chocolate chips
  • 6 oz (170 g) white chocolate chips
  • 1520 Oreos, roughly chopped
  • ¼ cup cap and gown-themed sprinkles (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted
  • Pinch of sea salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. Line a 9×13 inch baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Place milk chocolate chips and melted unsalted butter in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring between, until smooth and glossy (about 1-2 minutes).
  3. Pour melted milk chocolate onto the lined baking sheet and spread evenly into a 9×13 inch rectangle about ¼ inch thick. Set aside to firm up slightly.
  4. In a clean bowl, melt white chocolate chips using the same microwave method, stirring until smooth.
  5. Gently fold chopped Oreos into the melted white chocolate, reserving some for decoration.
  6. Pour the white chocolate and Oreo mixture over the milk chocolate layer. Use a toothpick or skewer to swirl the two chocolates together, creating a marbled effect without over-mixing.
  7. Sprinkle the remaining chopped Oreos and cap and gown sprinkles on top. Finish with a light pinch of sea salt if desired.
  8. Refrigerate the baking sheet for at least 1 hour or until the bark is fully set and firm.
  9. Lift the bark from the parchment and break into irregular pieces. Serve immediately or store as preferred.

Notes

Use short microwave bursts and stir frequently to avoid burning chocolate. Add a small splash of coconut oil if chocolate is too thick. Ensure mixing bowls are completely dry to prevent chocolate seizing. Chill bark on a level surface for even thickness. For dairy-free or vegan versions, use appropriate chocolate chips and cookies. Store bark in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days or refrigerated for up to 2 weeks.
