A quick and easy smoked salmon bagel board featuring an everything seasoning cream cheese spread, fresh veggies, and customizable toppings perfect for brunch or casual gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 bagels (plain, everything, or your favorite variety)
  • 6 ounces smoked salmon, thinly sliced
  • 8 ounces full-fat cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons everything bagel seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, finely chopped
  • ½ red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 small cucumber, thinly sliced
  • 12 cherry or grape tomatoes, halved
  • 2 tablespoons capers, drained
  • Fresh lemon wedges
  • Optional extras: avocado slices, radishes, hard-boiled eggs

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Cream Cheese Spread: In a mixing bowl, combine 8 ounces of softened cream cheese with 2 tablespoons of everything bagel seasoning and 1 tablespoon of finely chopped fresh dill. Stir until well blended and smooth. Taste and add more seasoning if desired.
  2. Slice the Bagels: Using a sharp knife, slice 4 bagels in half horizontally. Toast them lightly until golden brown but still soft inside.
  3. Prepare the Toppings: Thinly slice ½ red onion, 1 small cucumber, and halve about 12 cherry tomatoes. Drain 2 tablespoons of capers and chop any optional extras you’d like to add.
  4. Arrange the Board: Spread the everything seasoning cream cheese generously over each bagel half. Neatly arrange smoked salmon slices on a section of the board. Place the sliced veggies, capers, and lemon wedges in small bowls or directly on the board.
  5. Final Touches: Sprinkle a little extra everything seasoning over the cream cheese if desired. Add fresh dill sprigs for garnish and drizzle fresh lemon juice over the salmon just before serving.

Notes

Let cream cheese soften at room temperature for at least 30 minutes before mixing for smooth spreading. Toast bagels lightly to maintain a soft center with a crunchy edge. Prepare cream cheese spread and slice veggies up to 24 hours in advance, keeping refrigerated separately. Toast bagels just before serving. Let smoked salmon sit at room temperature for 10 minutes before serving to enhance flavor.
