  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice (about half a medium lemon)
  • 1 cup (240 ml) filtered water, chilled or room temperature
  • Optional: 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup for sweetness
  • Optional: Fresh mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Roll your lemon on the counter to loosen juices, cut in half, and juice about 2 tablespoons (30 ml) of fresh lemon juice. Use a strainer if needed to remove seeds.
  2. Measure 1/4 teaspoon (about 1.25 grams) of pink Himalayan salt and add it to your glass or bottle of water.
  3. Pour 1 cup (240 ml) of filtered water into the glass with lemon juice and salt. Stir thoroughly until the salt is fully dissolved.
  4. If desired, stir in 1 teaspoon of honey or maple syrup to soften the tartness.
  5. Add fresh mint leaves for garnish if desired. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
