A quick, healthy, and delicious dessert featuring creamy Greek yogurt, fresh strawberries, crunchy granola, and a drizzle of honey. Perfect for Valentines or any time you want a light, indulgent treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup (245g) Greek yogurt, plain or vanilla-flavored
  • 1 cup (about 150g) fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • ½ cup (50g) granola, crunchy variety with nuts and cinnamon preferred
  • 12 tablespoons honey, for drizzling
  • 1 teaspoon chia seeds (optional)
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract (optional, if using plain yogurt)
  • A few fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Wash 1 cup (150g) fresh strawberries under cold water. Hull and slice evenly.
  2. In a mixing bowl, add 1 cup (245g) Greek yogurt. If using plain yogurt, stir in ½ teaspoon vanilla extract. Add a teaspoon of milk if yogurt is too thick.
  3. Spoon half of the yogurt into a serving bowl or glass. Layer half of the sliced strawberries on top, followed by half of the granola (¼ cup / 25g). Repeat layers with remaining yogurt, strawberries, and granola.
  4. Drizzle 1-2 tablespoons honey over the top layer. Sprinkle 1 teaspoon chia seeds if using. Garnish with fresh mint leaves.
  5. Serve immediately to keep granola crunchy. If preparing ahead, keep granola separate and add just before serving.

Notes

Add granola last to keep it crunchy. For a softer granola texture, drizzle honey over granola before layering. Use ripe strawberries for best flavor. Can substitute frozen berries thawed and drained. For vegan version, use plant-based yogurt and maple syrup instead of honey.
