A delightful mix of crisp apples, gooey caramel, and crunchy Snickers pieces tossed in a fluffy, sweet dressing. Perfect for gatherings or casual indulgence.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 medium fresh apples (Granny Smith or Fuji), cored and chopped
  • 3 Snickers bars, chopped into bite-sized pieces
  • ½ cup (120 ml) caramel sauce, store-bought or homemade
  • 4 oz (115 g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup (240 ml) whipped topping (like Cool Whip or homemade whipped cream)
  • ½ cup (60 g) powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) vanilla extract
  • ½ cup (60 g) chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Apples and Snickers: Wash, core, and chop 3 medium apples into bite-sized pieces. Chop 3 Snickers bars into small chunks about ½ inch pieces. Chop nuts if using.
  2. Mix the Creamy Fluff: In a large bowl, beat 4 oz softened cream cheese with ½ cup powdered sugar and 1 tsp vanilla extract using an electric mixer until smooth and creamy. Gently fold in 1 cup whipped topping until combined and fluffy.
  3. Combine Salad Ingredients: Fold chopped apples, Snickers pieces, and nuts (if using) into the creamy fluff mixture. Stir gently until evenly coated.
  4. Add the Caramel Sauce: Drizzle ½ cup caramel sauce over the salad and fold it in lightly to create swirls of caramel without fully mixing.
  5. Chill and Serve: Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to let flavors meld and the salad firm up.

Notes

Use firm, crisp apples for best texture. Soften cream cheese before mixing to avoid lumps. Fold whipped topping gently to keep fluff airy. Use a serrated knife to chop Snickers bars to avoid squashing. Add caramel sauce just before serving to prevent sogginess. Toss apples with lemon juice if browning occurs. Salad tastes best chilled but not icy cold; let sit 5-10 minutes before serving.
