A creamy, cheesy spinach artichoke dip perfect for game day gatherings and parties. This easy recipe combines tender spinach, tangy artichokes, and melted cheeses baked to bubbly perfection.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 10 oz frozen spinach, thawed and well-drained
  • 14 oz artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Red pepper flakes (optional, a pinch)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Drain the spinach thoroughly by squeezing out excess water using a kitchen towel or cheesecloth.
  3. Drain and roughly chop the artichoke hearts. Rinse if marinated to reduce oiliness.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise. Stir until smooth and creamy.
  5. Add grated Parmesan, shredded mozzarella, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and optional red pepper flakes. Mix well.
  6. Fold in the drained spinach and chopped artichokes gently to distribute evenly without mashing.
  7. Transfer the mixture into an oven-safe baking dish or party bowl, spreading evenly.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the top is bubbly and golden brown. If browning too quickly, loosely cover with foil halfway through baking.
  9. Let the dip cool for 5 minutes before serving to allow it to set slightly.

Notes

Drain spinach and artichokes thoroughly to avoid watery dip. Use room temperature cream cheese for smooth mixing. Avoid overbaking to keep dip creamy. Optional substitutions include Greek yogurt for sour cream and mayo, or dairy-free cheeses for vegan versions.
