A quick, healthy, and festive Greek yogurt bowl perfect for Valentine’s Day, combining creamy yogurt, fresh berries, crunchy nuts, and a touch of honey for a guilt-free treat for two.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt (full-fat or 2%)
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of lemon zest
  • ½ cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • ¼ cup fresh raspberries
  • 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons granola
  • 1 tablespoon slivered almonds or chopped walnuts
  • 1 teaspoon chia seeds (optional)
  • Heart-shaped sprinkles or edible rose petals (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of plain Greek yogurt with ½ teaspoon vanilla extract and a pinch of lemon zest. Stir gently until smooth and fragrant.
  2. Wash, hull, and slice about ½ cup of strawberries. Rinse ¼ cup raspberries and pat dry carefully.
  3. Spoon the yogurt mixture evenly into two small serving bowls.
  4. Arrange the strawberries and raspberries on top in a pretty pattern.
  5. Sprinkle 2 tablespoons of granola and 1 tablespoon of slivered almonds or chopped walnuts over each bowl. Optionally, scatter 1 teaspoon of chia seeds for extra texture.
  6. Drizzle about 1 teaspoon of honey over each bowl.
  7. Add heart-shaped sprinkles or edible rose petals if desired.
  8. Optional: Chill the assembled bowls in the fridge for 10 minutes before serving for a colder treat.

Notes

Use fresh berries for best texture; avoid frozen unless thawed and drained. Add honey just before serving to keep its glossy effect. Toast nuts lightly for enhanced flavor. For dairy-free, substitute coconut or almond milk yogurt and use maple syrup instead of honey. Keep granola separate until serving to maintain crunchiness. Can prepare yogurt base a day ahead and assemble just before eating.
