This easy, healthy winter dessert combines creamy peanut butter and tangy Greek yogurt for a protein-packed dip that’s perfect with crisp apple slices. It’s quick to make, crowd-pleasing, and easily adaptable for different diets.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup (240g) plain Greek yogurt (whole milk or 2%)
  • 1/3 cup (80g) creamy peanut butter
  • 23 tablespoons (30–45ml) honey, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon (5ml) pure vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
  • Pinch of salt
  • 23 apples, sliced (about 400g)

Instructions

  1. Gather your ingredients. Slice apples last to keep them from browning.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the Greek yogurt and peanut butter.
  3. Add honey, vanilla, cinnamon (if using), and a pinch of salt.
  4. Whisk until completely smooth and creamy—about 1–2 minutes by hand, or 30 seconds with a hand mixer. If too thick, add a splash of milk or extra yogurt.
  5. Taste and add more honey if needed. Stir in any optional add-ins (protein powder, seeds) now.
  6. Wash, core, and slice apples into wedges or thin rounds. Arrange on a platter around your serving bowl of dip. Toss apple slices with lemon juice to prevent browning if making ahead.
  7. Top the dip with mini chocolate chips, chopped peanuts, or a sprinkle of cinnamon if desired.
  8. Serve immediately for the crunchiest apples and freshest dip.

Notes

For dairy-free, use coconut or plant-based yogurt. For nut-free, use sunflower seed butter. Adjust sweetness to taste. For extra protein, add a scoop of protein powder. Chill dip for fluffier texture. Slice apples just before serving for best crunch. Store dip in the fridge for up to 3 days; stir before serving.
