These Pepperoni Pizza Pinwheels are quick, easy, and irresistible, making them the perfect party appetizer or fun dinner snack.

Ingredients

  • Pizza Dough (store-bought or homemade, rolled out into a rectangle)
  • Thinly sliced pepperoni
  • Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Marinara sauce
  • Italian seasoning
  • Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it for easy cleanup.
  2. On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle measuring roughly 12×8 inches (30×20 cm).
  3. Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges.
  4. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella evenly over the sauce, followed by the pepperoni slices.
  5. Sprinkle a pinch of Italian seasoning over the toppings for added flavor.
  6. Starting from one long edge, carefully roll the dough into a tight log. Pinch the seam closed to keep it from unraveling.
  7. Using a sharp knife or pizza cutter, slice the log into 12 equal pieces (about 1 inch thick each).
  8. Place the pinwheels cut-side up on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 1 inch apart.
  9. Optionally, sprinkle the tops with grated Parmesan cheese for added flavor.
  10. Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  11. Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes before serving. Serve with extra marinara sauce for dipping.

Notes

Chill the dough if it feels too sticky to roll. Don’t overfill the pinwheels to avoid messiness. Use parchment paper for easy cleanup.
