A quick and easy 3-ingredient frozen cocktail combining frozen strawberries, lemonade, and tequila blanco for a refreshing summer drink with a perfect balance of sweet and tart flavors.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups (225 grams) frozen strawberries
  • 1 cup (240 ml) lemonade
  • 4 ounces (120 ml) tequila blanco
  • Optional: 1-2 teaspoons sugar or simple syrup
  • Optional: 1 cup (240 ml) ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Gather and measure 1 1/2 cups frozen strawberries, 1 cup lemonade, and 4 ounces tequila blanco. Have sugar or simple syrup ready if you want it sweeter.
  2. Place frozen strawberries into the blender. Pour in lemonade and tequila. Add ice cubes if a thicker consistency is desired.
  3. Blend on medium speed, then high, for 30-45 seconds until smooth and icy with a thick but pourable slushy texture. Adjust consistency by adding more lemonade or frozen strawberries/ice as needed.
  4. Taste and adjust sweetness or strength by adding sugar/simple syrup or more lemonade/ice, then blend briefly again.
  5. Run a lemon wedge around the rims of glasses and dip into coarse salt (optional).
  6. Pour the margarita into prepared glasses and garnish with a fresh strawberry or lemon wheel.

Notes

Use quality frozen strawberries without added sugar for best flavor. Avoid over-blending to prevent watery texture. Chill glasses before serving for extra refreshment. Blanco tequila is preferred for clean flavor. Adjust sweetness carefully as lemonade varies. Store leftovers in freezer up to 24 hours and re-blend before serving.
