A cold, sweet, and tangy frozen strawberry lemonade slushie perfect for summer refreshment. Quick and easy to make with simple ingredients and a perfectly balanced icy texture.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and frozen
  • 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice (about 23 lemons)
  • 1 cup water (can substitute with coconut water)
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons honey or agave syrup
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • Optional: fresh mint leaves for garnish or blending

Instructions

  1. Rinse fresh strawberries, hull them by removing the green tops, then freeze for several hours or overnight.
  2. Roll lemons on the counter, cut in half, and juice to extract about 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice. Remove seeds if needed.
  3. In a blender, combine frozen strawberries, fresh lemon juice, water, honey or agave syrup, and ice cubes.
  4. Blend starting on low speed, then increase to high. Blend for 1 to 2 minutes until smooth and icy but not watery. Adjust thickness by adding more water or frozen strawberries/ice as needed.
  5. Taste and adjust sweetness or tartness by adding more honey or lemon juice. Blend briefly again after adjustments.
  6. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh mint leaves or a lemon slice if desired.

Notes

Use frozen strawberries for best icy texture. Adjust sweetness and tartness to taste. Pulse blender in short bursts for smoother texture without bits. Freeze lemonade in ice cube trays for extra lemon flavor without dilution. Store leftovers in airtight container in freezer up to 2 days; thaw slightly and reblend before serving.
